This week continued to be an interesting experience in the formidable world of dial-up internet. Research into 'free' wifi in the region has found that hours are limited for the local public libraries, making it very difficult for anyone with a 'day' job to access this service. I believe this has given me a glimpse of the difficulties faced by our LSE students and when planning my lessons, I will definitely be scheduling a large amount of time for class computer use for my students who are using ICT.
Hi Rachelle, awesome prezi! You make a very good point re the free wifi, and certainly one that I hadn't really considered. We are becoming so dependant on internet access these days, that it is easy to forget that not everyone is connected, or many only have limited access.
